The IRATA training takes place from Monday to Thursday and assessment is conducted on Friday. The training venue is:

ROKT, Millroyd St, Brighouse, West Yorkshire. HD6 1EY

Prerequisites

Candidates must be 18 years old and free from any medical impairment that might prevent them from working at height.

 As per the IRATA TACS requirements:

4.3.3 Candidates seeking to upgrade shall ensure that: a) their current certification is still valid on the day of assessment; b) they have the necessary 1 years’ experience and 1000 working hours recorded and signed off in their logbook. See 4.13 for more details on logbooks. NOTE For the avoidance of confusion, 1 year experience means a Technician is eligible for an upgrade assessment on the calendar day one year and one day after their previous assessment; e.g. 1st April 2014 Level 1 assessment, 2nd April 2015 earliest possible L2 assessment.

4.3.4 Rope access Technicians who are upgrading or revalidating shall provide their logbooks to the IRATA Trainer member company prior to the start of the training course. Where rope access Technicians have lost their logbooks, they shall arrange for a replacement to be issued, completed and verified before training commences.

Cancellations
In the event that you cancel then the following applies:

More than 14 days before the course commencement:
Course fees refunded minus a £50 administration charge

Less than 14 days before the course commencement:
No refund but course date may be changed

In the event that a course is cancelled by High Q UK Ltd, then all fees will be refunded in full or at your request be
credited against another course.
